WHAT DOES IT TAKE
Time
Working from a home garage, the Praxis system provides a good weekend project (14 – 18 hours) for the average enthusiast. A professional working from a fully equipped garage should be able to complete an installation in 8 to 10 hours.
Skill Level
A Praxis system can be installed by the average enthusiast who has some previous experience working on mechanical and electrical systems. If you’ve ever changed brakes and installed a stereo, you probably have the skills necessary to successfully install the system.
Tools
A typical praxis installation requires access to the following tools:
1. Metric Combination Wrenches (to 19-mm)
2. Standard Combination Wrenches (to 9/16”)
3. Ratchet Wrench and Sockets (to 21-mm)
4. Metric Allen wrenches (to 6-mm)
5. Torque Wrench
6. Phillips Screwdrivers
7. Flat Blade Screwdrivers
8. Side Cutting Pliers
9. Standard Pliers
10. 3 Jacks (at least one hydraulic floor jack plus two additional jacks -floor type or spare-tire type are acceptable)
11. Jack Stands
12. Drop Light or Flashlight
13. Utility Knife
14. Tape Measure
15. Drill Motor
16. Hammer
17. Center Punch
18. Electrical Tape
19. Masking Tape
20. Marker or Pen
21.Silicone RTV Sealant
